About Heidi von Beltz
Heidi von Beltz was an actress, stuntwoman, model and aspiring movie producer on Hollywood's fast track to success. Then, in June 1980, on the set of the movie "Cannonball Run," a chase scene Heidi was filming went terribly wrong, and her sports car crashed head-on into a van. Doctors pronounced her paralyzed from the neck down, and gave her no hope to survive.
Heidi has authored an inspirational book "My Soul Purpose, Living, Learning & Healing" and, with the help of her Hollywood friends, the Follow-Your-Heart Foundation was founded. The aim of Follow-Your-Heart Foundation is to establish a Neurological Disorder Center which provides education, research and treatment for people and families challenged with neurological disorders.
