About Heidi Stephenson
Ms. Heidi Stephenson (Professional Vocalist) Ms. Stephenson has earned acclaim for singing a variety of opera, musical theater and concert literature in the United States. She has performed such operatic roles as Despina in Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte, Cis in Britten's Albert Herring, Carolina in Matrimonio Segreto, Cherubino in Le Nozze de Figaro, and the title role in Puccini's Suor Angelica, in addition to scenes from La Traviata, La Boheme, Don Giovanni, Magic Flute, and the Mikado. While singing with Dorian Opera Theater, Ms. Stephenson was honored with the Edward and Ilsa Meyer Sponsorship. In her musical theater repertoire Ms. Stephenson has performed the roles of Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, Anna in the King and I, and Charlotte in Oliver.
Ms. Stephenson earned her Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received a full-tuition scholarship. Other awards include second prize in the National Association of Teachers of Singing Regional Competition in Wichita, Kansas, second prize in the N. A. T. S. State Competition in Lincoln, Nebraska and finalist in the N. A. T. S. State Competition in Hastings, Nebraska.
