About the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis
In 1985, a spinal cord injury left Marc Buoniconti unable to move a muscle below his neck. Yet each day he moves people. After spending months of grueling rehab at the Miami Project, he later went on to become Ambassador for the Miami Project and president of The Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. He has undertaken a vigorous campaign to let the world know that paralysis does not have to be forever, and he has served on several local, state, and federal committees, given hundreds of interviews, and inspired a nation with his courage.
