Answer: The World Ability Federation is not engaged in an independent mission.  Our goal is to promote, uphold and provide support for the tens of thousands of organizations worldwide whose mission directly or indirectly helps people with disabilities or special needs.

We accomplish this goal in several ways:
Our research project and our annual awards gala focuses on finding those organizations that are working to help people with disabilities and learning and evaluating their missions and making the information available to others in the federation and to the people with disabilities themselves.

Our scholarship program is designed to find and attract those individuals who are best suited to advance the missions of the members and friends of the federation, educate them at the best schools in the world, and provide intern jobs while in school and careers upon graduation directly benefiting the members and friends of the federation.

Q. What is the difference between friends, members, and Laureates of the World Ability Federation?

  • Friends of the federation consist of any organization whose mission is directly or indirectly tied to helping people with disabilities or special needs?
  • Members of the federation is any friend of the federation who requests to become a member.  Members receive email updates, newsletters, invitations, and other benefits provided directly by the World Ability Federation.
  • Laureates of the federation is any friend or member of the federation that is recognized with an award at our annual gala.
